Three full sized sand volleyball courts can be found with an attached pavilion at Riata. Start off with a few friendly games, then maybe get a little competitive with it.

Dribble over to our full size basketball court and jump in a pick-up game. We’ve been told we have the best facility for miles.

Step outside onto the Grand Pavilion, Riata’s most coveted place for gathering. The regular Farmers Market and yoga classes are just a few examples of how residents converge. It may also be the perfect spot to celebrate an upcoming birthday.

If you’ve ever wondered how to play bocce ball or cornhole, now’s the time to learn. Go for a match on our outdoor game court. Or keep it classic on one of two horseshoe pits. Bring friends and make it a tournament.

Try out our proper gas-fired pizza oven and realize that regular ovens just don’t cut it when it comes to this kind of pie.

Riata is home to Spike’s, a sand volleyball and BBQ paradise.

Our competition-grade pavilion features a full-size smoker, Big Green Eggs, gas grill and outdoor kitchen – all you need to become a grillmaster. Remember, friends, low and slow.

There are 3+ miles of walking and running trails peppered throughout Riata’s 180 acres and including a loop around Riata Lake. Break in a new pair of boots here before making your way south to the Greenbelt.

Take breakfast, lunch, or dinner outside at least once a week at one of the many Picnic Areas conveniently located throughout Riata. 

The Great Room is a must-see and the heart of our little community. Grab a cup of coffee, relax, or have a meeting. It’s your space just as much as it is ours, and we invite you to throw a party or cozy up with your laptop and catch up on emails. The show kitchen, comfy seats, outdoor deck and games like ping pong and shuffleboard make it easy to host just about anything you please.

Charge your car at home! All of our 8 villages have EV charging stations to keep your electric car ready to roll. Whether you need to run a quick errand or to prepare for a long trip, worrying about your car charge will be the least of your worries!

Hit up the Adventure Park full of natural climbing structures and our Wood Trail play area to let the kiddos run wild.

Take your 4-legged friend to one of our two dog parks. And be sure to test their agility on the obstacle course.
If you’ve got a muddy pup, take them to one of our two fully equipped pet wash stations.

Tune up your bike at our community accessible bike repair center before hitting the trails.
